The Beauty of Yarn

Craft and sewing stores offer a real variety of different yarns, from such natural materials as alpaca wool or angora to synthetics made of rayon or acrylic, and in a variety of styles: thin, thick, bright or soft tones, variegated, metallic, and many more characteristics, according to what you have in mind to carry out.

Many times for a novice, the fuzzy or thick yarns are more difficult to handle in the beginning, but if you keep practicing and you manage to learn to manipulate the simple acrylic yarn, you can make a simple pattern something quite different and marvelous simply by changing yarn. Perhaps only you know how to do the simple stockinette stitch. If you change to a fuzzy yarn and a large needle, you can make a decorative and pretty scarf. That easy! : -)

Keep practicing, and experiment a little with different yarns once you become comfortable.
